Myeloma. Bone Marrow Cancer. What do you do? Go to the playground.

You live. Day by day. Minute by minute. The clock ticks. You try to forget. Stress builds.

You live. How to control your thoughts? Some say faith. Some say ____________.

I say go to the playground everyday. Children keep us alive. Watch the children.

Go to the playground. Sit on the sandbox edge. Watch them play.

Play is therapy for body and mind.

yes! you are so right. the best medicine is laughter. let the kid OUT...he/she is still in there...somewhere...some people forget. they think just because you've grown older in years...you have to ACT like an adult...

it's not an easy thing to 'go on'...after being diagnosed. knowing that chances are you're not going to live a looong life...like you thought you would...it's not easy to NOT worry. stress.
so watch those hysterical movies. laugh out loud. act like a kid. BE a kid. watch them play.

Children help me center. Their pure pleasure encompasses me. Their eyes full of delight. Engrossed in wonder.

When sickness comes in a family, I could look at endings. But look at the children, the beginning. The children give life meaning.

Children see everything as new. Play is new wonder occurring again and again. Time stops. Play stops time.

Looking at children playing stops time for me.
