Eyeglasses pull down my forehead.
Eyes press together.

Pain shoots out the temples
To clenched jaw.

Muscles wrestle the inside out
Strangling a boulder of thought tangles.

A Strangler fig growing around a boulder at Katandra Reserve, near Gosford, New South Wales, Australia. It is a prominent landmark along Toomeys Walk. The boulder is around 1.5m in diameter.
